Features: This book unfolds one of the darkest pages in Soviet history: the execution of five marshals—Tukhachevsky, Yegorov, Fyodorukha, Kulik, and Beria. The first four were executed during Stalin's time, while Beria was executed after Stalin's death. As marshals who commanded armies, they were unable to protect themselves, leading to their own demise and even endangering their subordinates and friends. How could this happen?
