Perspectives: Studies in Translatology was founded in 1993 as an English quarterly, sponsored by the Department of English and the Translation Research Center of the University of Copenhagen, with the editor-in-chief being the internationally renowned translation scholar, CayDollerup. Since 2002, it has been co-sponsored by the Department of English at the University of Copenhagen and the Department of Foreign Languages at Tsinghua University. As one of the influential academic journals in the international translation field, it is one of the few translation studies journals selected by the authoritative citation system A&HCI (Arts & Humanities Citation Index) to represent the culture, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary aspects, revealing the nature and tasks of translation studies from various perspectives. This book is prefaced by Professor Wang Ning, Director of the Center for Comparative Literature and Culture at Tsinghua University. Professor Luo Xuanmin, Director of the Center for Translation and Interdisciplinary Studies at Tsinghua University, provides brief comments on the content of each issue to help readers better understand the background and main themes of each paper.
