After multiple revisions, it was officially published by Renmin University of China Press in December 1993.
During the discussion of the outline and the writing process, the book strives to combine theoretical depth with practical applicability, and its structure was designed to suit the characteristics of comprehensive universities. Except for the introduction, the book is divided into four parts—Theory, Policy, Practice, and Marketing—with a total of 19 chapters, basically adhering to the guiding principles for core financial and economic courses in higher education institutions formulated by the former Higher Education Department of the State Education Commission.
