Chinese-English Common Medical Vocabulary

Author: Ye Min
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1982-02-01
Features: A Handbook of Common Medical Terms in Chinese and English was first published in 1982 and has been well-received by readers since its release. Given the rapid development of medical science over the past decade, new terms have been increasing daily. The original book's entries clearly no longer meet the objective needs of medical professionals. Therefore, in addition to making necessary revisions or deletions of unsuitable or incorrect terms in the original book, the authors have supplemented approximately 11,000 new entries (including 1,000 terms related to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese herbal medicine). The added terms focus on fields that have developed rapidly and new disciplines. The new edition retains the original book's features of including both Chinese and Western terms, standardized entries, well-prepared translations, and reflecting up-to-date information.
