Features: Nowadays, learning the piano is so common, and there are more and more excellent pianists, that people find mediocre piano performances unacceptable. Therefore, even to play a piece of moderate difficulty at an amateur concert requires ten years or more of practice. However, not many people can dedicate that much time to learning the instrument. As a result, due to insufficient foundation, people often make improper movements or use incorrect techniques when playing the piano. When playing slightly challenging passages with passing notes, the left hand often feels clumsy, with the fourth and fifth fingers barely functioning, as they are generally weaker than the other fingers due to a lack of specific exercises. When encountering octaves, tremolos, or trills, they often struggle and tire easily, resulting in performances that are unstructured and lacking in expressiveness. After years of effort, we have tried to eliminate the above issues and strive to summarize specialized exercises into a single collection, which can significantly reduce the time required for piano practice. To achieve this goal, it is sufficient to find solutions to the following problems. "If the five fingers of each hand can function equally, they will possess the ability to play all piano sheet music, leaving only easily solvable fingerings to address. We can solve this problem through works such as the 60 pieces of 'Piano Finger Exercise.' In this book, there are exercises for finger flexibility, independence, dynamics, and maximum balance, as well as wrist suppleness—all of which are essential factors for achieving beautiful performances. Additionally, these exercises have been designed to ensure the left hand can be as skillful as the right. Except for a few isolated pieces borrowed from other textbooks, all the exercises are original. These exercises are engaging and unlike most five-finger exercises, which often bore students. Those tedious exercises would require the patience of an artistic master to even attempt. The exercises we have created are designed to be played quickly without much reading, making them immediately effective finger exercises, so there is no need to waste time figuring them out. People can also play all these exercises simultaneously on multiple pianos, encouraging students to progress and adapt to ensemble playing. This book covers all types of difficulties, which we have arranged so that fingers tired from the previous exercise can rest in the next one. Through this combination, people can overcome technical challenges effortlessly and with ease. After practicing, the fingers will experience exceptional fluency. This book is intended for all piano learners. After about a year of study, significant progress can be achieved. For those with higher proficiency, playing the exercises in this book will soon make their fingers and wrists feel less stiff, and they will be able to handle even the most challenging techniques with ease.
