Publish Date: 2003-12-01
Features: This book provides annotations on the entire text of the I Ching, including Yi Ji. The author inherits the tradition of image mathematics and believes that the terms of the I Ching are all derived from observing images, hence the emphasis is on interpreting the I Ching through images. In addition to the images taken from the I Fu, the author also studies many long-neglected images from Zuo Zhuan, Guo Yu, Yi Zhou Shu, and especially Yi Lin, and proposes concepts such as inverted images and half-images to explain the I Ching. The author does not adopt Zheng Xuan's hexagram-time theory or Yu Fan's hexagram transformation method. Additionally, the author agrees with the Book of Changes in this regard.
