Features: The property rights system, especially the modern property rights system, remains a confusing and chaotic puzzle, whether for the restructuring of state-owned enterprises or the transformation of private enterprises. Compared to 10 or 20 years ago, there are now more works and articles on property rights theory. Perhaps the existing property rights theory works are too abstract, or the property rights reform articles are too forward-looking, yet the business community still complains that restructuring is and cannot be implemented. At the same time, from the practices of numerous companies that have completed restructuring or transformation, it can be seen that corporate restructuring or transformation has merely utilized the organizational form of modern companies without establishing a modern corporate system, nor has it formed the corporate values and culture required by modern management. It can be said that a large number of state-owned enterprise restructuring and private enterprise transformation in China urgently need a "textbook" that both state-owned enterprise operators and private enterprise owners can understand and use as a guide. This textbook should be able to specifically guide the deepening of corporate property rights system reforms with modern property rights theory. As a scholar, I have written many works and articles, but I am well aware that they are far removed from the realities of enterprises. Therefore, several years ago, I began to consider writing a textbook that meets the requirements of the modern property rights system, is easy to understand, and can guide enterprises in restructuring operations. "Case Study on Property Rights System Reform and Property Rights Structure Design" was completed under this mindset. The reason this work is called a "case study" is because its framework is designed as follows: through the 12 specific cases in the third part, it explains the new theories of modern property rights systems and analyzes how to apply the specific techniques of modern property rights structure design in the second part. Over the years, in addition to theoretical and policy research, I have used every possible opportunity and time to personally visit various types of enterprises (companies) and guide or lead consulting teams in their property rights system reforms, accumulating some experience for myself and my team. In "Case Study on Property Rights System Reform and Property Rights Structure Design," not only are the 12 cases in the third part personally guided and operated by me, but the property rights system reform theories in the first part and the property rights structure design techniques in the second part are also explored and applied by me in practice. I strive to express the new theories of modern property rights systems and complex techniques in simple and clear language, but the abstract nature of the theories and the variability of the techniques determine that I still had to use some professional terminology. I hope to gain the understanding of property rights system reformers in the business community.
