She turned around with a smile and made a strange gesture. "No, the place I'm going, you guys wouldn't dare." The drivers laughed, their roughness tempered with restraint: "Miss, you're out of your league. We won't say much, but this kind of rough stuff is our specialty. Without the right legs, who'd dare to stir this pot?" The woman didn't want to argue, glanced at her watch again, then opened her delicate umbrella and stepped down the stairs, walking down the dark road. "This woman has potential," one driver said. "Midnight—where is she heading?"
