Features: Zhu Songfa was born in 1942 in Huaining, Anhui. He is currently a professional painter at the Anhui Academy of Fine Arts, a member of the China Artists Association, and a first-class fine arts master. He enjoys the special allowance granted by the State Council. In 1965, he stayed at Anhui Art College to teach for ten years together with Bi Chi. His works "Eternal Vigor," "Golden Hook Years," "Spirit of Ice and Snow," and "Beautiful Southern Anhui Autumn" were selected for the 6th and 7th National Fine Arts Exhibitions and the 1989 and 1993 National Fine Arts Exhibitions, respectively. In 1989, "Spirit of Ice and Snow" won the first prize in Anhui's fine arts works. In 1993, at the first China Art Expo, he was invited as a special artist, with ten of his works, including "Frosty Mountain with Broken Stream," exhibited. In 1993, he created a large-scale plum blossom work titled "Fragrant Cold" which was displayed in the Anhui Hall of the Great Hall of the People. He has published works such as "All Over the World," "Zhu Songfa Plum Blossom Works Collection," "Zhu Songfa Paintings Collection," and "Zhu Songfa Sketches Collection." In September 1992, he was invited to Australia to hold an exhibition and give lectures. In October 1995, he attended the opening ceremony of the 8th International Painting Exhibition of Bourges in France as a special invited artist, with his work "Yellow Mountain" (the 20th piece) exhibited and awarded a special prize. His biography was included in reference books such as the "International Who's Who" and the "Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese National Painters."
