Features: The content of the book is suitable for researchers in the fields of biophysics, cognitive neuroscience, neuroelectrophysiology, electromagnetic field engineering, and biomedical engineering to read or as a textbook for relevant graduate students. Some unique methods introduced in the book, developed in the field of EEG research, may also have certain reference value for mathematicians engaged in inversion research, such as geophysics and remote sensing, or even optimization research. Understanding the brain and recognizing humanity itself is a cutting-edge interdisciplinary field in the current scientific community. Exploring, analyzing, and simulating the functions of the brain from an engineering science perspective has become a research hotspot in recent years. Existing brain function detection methods include Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Electroencephalography (EEG), and Magnetoencephalography (MEG). These techniques each have their own characteristics, among which the feature of EEG is that it can be used to study both functional responses to external stimuli and spontaneous functional states, and it is a completely non-invasive, safe, and relatively cost-effective method. Based on the author's research work over the past decade and combined with some recently studied literature, this book aims to systematically present an overview of new electrical methods for brain function detection, contributing to the full potential of these methods in brain function research.
