Features: This book is a summary of the author's scientific research on the fundamental theory of mesoscopic Josephson devices. It plays an active role in the research and popularization of the theoretical foundation of mesoscopic Josephson devices in China, and also provides reference value for the research and development of applications of mesoscopic Josephson devices and related mesoscopic devices. The entire book strives to be comprehensive, systematic, concise, and accessible, reflecting the scientific frontiers of the field as much as possible. It includes relevant references to help readers quickly delve into the research field. This book is suitable for senior undergraduate and graduate students, as well as teachers and researchers in theoretical physics, optical superconductivity, and mesoscopic devices and related fields. The book focuses on the dynamical properties of systems involving the interaction between external fields and mesoscopic Josephson junctions, particularly non-classical properties, including quantum fluctuations and squeezing effects of mechanical quantities, quantum collapse and revival effects of superconducting currents, and flow-voltage step effects, among others. The book is divided into five chapters. After the introduction in the first chapter, the first two chapters discuss the interaction between quantized electromagnetic fields and mesoscopic Josephson junctions under small inductance and large inductance approximations, respectively. The next two chapters discuss mesoscopic Josephson junction systems under non-time-dependent and time-dependent classical field effects. Finally, several related appendices are provided.
