Features: This textbook has three distinct characteristics: it systematically reflects the current state of pharmacology, especially molecular pharmacology; selectively introduces the history of drug development to aid memory and inspire research ideas; and includes illustrations and tables, with detailed illustrations for drug mechanisms and tables for summarizing similar drugs. The book is formatted with two font sizes, highlighting key points, covering a broad scope, being rich in visuals, and highly readable, which helps expand knowledge, understand the forefront of the discipline, and explore potential future directions. This textbook is suitable for medical students and can also serve as a reference for clinical physicians and other related professionals. The book consists of 50 chapters. Based on the needs of pharmacology development both domestically and internationally, content such as "Introduction to Autonomic Nerves" and "Introduction to Nervous System Drugs" from previous textbooks has been streamlined, while three new chapters—"Drugs for Anticentral Degenerative Diseases," "Drugs for Allergic Reactions," and "Drugs for Renin-Angiotensin System"—have been added. Additionally, the content of chapters on nervous system pharmacology, anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs, antiviral drugs, immunomodulatory drugs, and antitumor drugs has been strengthened.
