Features: This book is suitable for scientists and engineers engaged in electromagnetic theory research, electromagnetic wave propagation, information engineering research, as well as those involved in mathematics and physics research. It can also serve as a reference for senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and teachers in the aforementioned fields at universities and colleges. This book is a sequel to the work "The Mathematical Foundations of Modern Electromagnetic Field Theory (Vector Differential Operators)," which introduces the theory of "vector differential operators" proposed by the author as the mathematical foundation for macroscopic electromagnetic wave problems. This book presents the development of the fundamental equations of electromagnetic waves based on this mathematical theory, which has been applied for over a century in the classical Maxwell's equations. This equation set overcomes the difficulties in classical electromagnetic field theory, where mathematical incompatibility could only allow for exact solutions to single-mode problems, while general three-dimensional problems could not be analytically or numerically solved. It provides general analytical methods and uniformly convergent numerical methods for electromagnetic resonators and microwave networks.
