Features: The teaching content of this book is roughly equivalent in breadth to the current "Basic Requirements for Higher Mathematics Course Teaching." Following the requirement of permeating modern mathematics and strengthening the cultivation of applied abilities, some traditional content has been reprocessed. Greater emphasis is placed on the geometric meaning and practical background of basic concepts, theorems, and important formulas, highlighting the fundamental role of calculus. This book is a research outcome of the Ministry of Education's "Reform Plan for Teaching Content and Curriculum Systems in Higher Education Towards the 21st Century" and is a textbook for the 21st century. Based on the "Higher Mathematics" compiled by Tongji University, this book was written in line with the reform spirit, serving as a 21st-century-oriented textbook. The book is divided into two volumes. The first volume covers single-variable calculus and differential equations, while the second volume includes spatial analytical geometry, multivariable calculus, and infinite series.
