Publish Date: 2003-04-01
Features: This book presents unique explanations of key topics such as reactive power in dynamic components and two-port networks, the decomposition of rotating and pulsating magnetic fields, and the fundamental electromagnetic relationships of asynchronous motors and synchronous generators. Therefore, it serves as a valuable reference for electrical engineering instructors at various types of higher education institutions. The revision of this book is based on the jointly compiled Electrical Engineering by Guo Mùsēn, Liao Xuánjiǔ, and others, and was developed in accordance with the Teaching Syllabus for Physics Majors in Higher Normal Schools approved and promulgated by the former State Education Commission in 1980, as well as the Teaching Syllabus for In-service Teachers Advancing to Bachelor's Degree in Physics approved and promulgated in 1983. The book consists of 13 chapters, including: Introduction, Basic Analysis Methods for Networks, Sinusoidal Steady-State Analysis of Networks, Principles and Theorems for Simplified Network Analysis, Analysis Methods for Circuits with Controlled Sources, Three-Phase Sinusoidal AC Circuits, Electrical Instruments, Transformers, Asynchronous Motors, Synchronous Machines, DC Motors, Low-Voltage Control Devices and Control Circuits, Thyristors and Their Applications, and Electrical Safety. Additionally, the book includes two appendices and answers to some of the exercises at the end. This book can be used as a textbook for physics majors in higher normal schools and also as a remote online education textbook for in-service secondary school teachers advancing to bachelor's degree in physics.
