Features: To facilitate the smooth and high-quality implementation of training programs at all levels, this manual and CD-ROM were jointly developed and produced by the Department of Basic Education and the Department of Normal Education of the Ministry of Education, focusing on the key and challenging issues of the new high school curriculum reform. Based on preliminary research, the manual and CD-ROM have been reviewed and approved by the National Expert Committee on Teacher Education Curriculum Resources. The general part of the manual includes 8 titles: "The Formation of School Curriculum Plans and Student Elective Guidance," "Teaching Implementation of the New Curriculum," "New Curriculum and Student Evaluation Reform," "Implementation and Management of Comprehensive Practical Activities," "Development and Utilization of Curriculum Resources," "School-Based Research and Teacher Professional Development," "Concepts and Innovations of the New Curriculum," and "Leadership, Organization, and Promotion of the New Curriculum." The subject-specific part includes 16 titles: "Curriculum Standards Training for Chinese," "Curriculum Standards Training for Mathematics," "Curriculum Standards Training for English," "Curriculum Standards Training for Japanese," "Curriculum Standards Training for Russian," "Curriculum Standards Training for Physics," "Curriculum Standards Training for Chemistry," "Curriculum Standards Training for Biology," "Curriculum Standards Training for History," "Curriculum Standards Training for Geography," "Curriculum Standards Training for Music," "Curriculum Standards Training for Fine Arts," "Curriculum Standards Training for Arts," "Curriculum Standards Training for Physical Education and Health," and "Curriculum Standards Training for Technology (General Technology) and Technology (Information Technology)." The CD-ROM provides expert lectures and participatory training activities corresponding to each topic in the manual. Compared to other training materials, this set of manuals (general part) has the following advantages: , based on thorough preliminary research. Before the official release of the new curriculum plan, the Ministry of Education established 7 research project teams to address key, challenging, and hot issues in the new curriculum experiment, such as the organization and leadership of the new curriculum implementation, elective guidance and teaching management, teaching implementation, resource development and utilization, evaluation reform, implementation and management of comprehensive practical activities, and the dissemination and public understanding of the new curriculum. These project teams collaborated with those in Guangdong and four other provinces (regions) to tackle relevant problems. This set of manuals is the direct outcome of these research projects. Second, it provides constructive and guiding professional support for various trainers. Compared to traditional curricula, the new high school curriculum has undergone significant changes, raising a series of questions for all personnel involved in the new curriculum experiment: Why is the high school curriculum being reformed? What are the innovations of the new curriculum? How should educational administrators organize the new curriculum experiment? How should schools develop curriculum plans and guide students in elective choices? How can teachers implement modular-based teaching? How should students be evaluated? How should teaching research be conducted? How should comprehensive practical activities be carried out? How should curriculum resources be developed? In this set of training manuals, through activities such as reflection, discussion, debate, case analysis, experience sharing, and brainstorming, you will find ways and approaches to solve these problems.
