Features: Practical English is a public English textbook for vocational education, officially published and released in 1995. To better cultivate students' English application skills, and in light of the teaching experience with Practical English over the past few years as well as the English teaching requirements for vocational education, the writing group revised Practical English. The revised second edition of Practical English is not only suitable for students in higher vocational colleges but also for those in vocational colleges. Compared to the previous edition, Practical English Comprehensive Course 3 (Second Edition) focuses on improving language skill training, adjusting the order and structure of reading, translation, writing, listening, and speaking skill training. The difficulty of listening comprehension for paragraph-level passages has been reduced, and some exercises have been removed. The topics of communicative dialogues have been appropriately adjusted, and the amount of communicative dialogue training has been increased. Some business letters with overly specialized content have been removed, and supplementary materials such as application forms for courses, transcripts, notarized certificates, and graduation diplomas, which vocational students may actually use in foreign-related applications, have been added.
