Features: The National Public English Test (PETS) system is a five-level English examination system designed for the public. Its establishment aims to better serve China's reform and opening-up and the continuous expansion of foreign exchanges, as well as to lay a solid foundation for further reform of the current social English education and testing system in China at the appropriate time. It is well known that with the establishment and improvement of the socialist market economy system, the social education and testing industry has developed rapidly, with an increasing number of examination programs and types. Among various education and testing projects, foreign language examinations are almost always involved.
