Features: This series of textbooks is accompanied by a teacher's book, a workbook, and audio cassettes. The teacher's book includes, for each unit: teaching points, teaching procedures, listening materials, reference translations for listening exercises, and answers to exercises. To adapt to the reform and development of English teaching in the field of higher vocational education, Higher Education Press has introduced the British PLUS series of English textbooks and entrusted experts and teachers familiar with English teaching in higher vocational schools to revise them. This series is aligned with the English series textbooks for secondary vocational schools. The Higher Vocational School English series consists of 3 volumes, with Volumes 1 and 2 used for two semesters in higher vocational schools. "Higher Vocational School English Preliminary Level (i.e., English for Secondary Vocational Schools)" can be used by students with lower starting levels or for review purposes. This series of textbooks reflects the latest achievements in foreign language teaching research both domestically and internationally from a fresh perspective. It takes "topics" closely related to students' lives as the main thread and creates meaningful language contexts through diverse yet easily manageable "activities," training students in the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and cultivating their ability to communicate in English.
