Features: Social psychology emerged at the intersection of psychology and sociology, making it a typical interdisciplinary field. Therefore, its research objects are not as straightforward as those of other disciplines, making it impossible to summarize them with a simple definition. What we can assert is that there are numerous such social phenomena in real life, and studying them requires the joint efforts of both psychology and sociology. Clearly, humans are conscious and willful, so the study and interpretation of their social activities and their consequences cannot avoid psychological issues. At the same time, social activities can only arise within specific social relationships and are the result of various social connections—interaction and communication. In fact, psychology and society are two interdependent and inseparable parts. The division of these disciplines into separate fields of study merely reflects different emphases on the same phenomenon by different professional areas. While the division of disciplines may have certain rationality, at least it facilitates rigorous methodological training and the establishment of a complete theoretical tradition. However, the unity of the real world constantly calls for collaboration between different disciplines to break down disciplinary barriers. Social psychology is precisely such a "collaborative" discipline.
