The book is divided into nine parts: 1. Comprehensive Information; 2. Resource Information; 3. Industry and Product Development Information; 4. Regional Development Information; 5. Development Plan Information; 6. Investment and Financing Information; 7. Policy and Regulation Information; 8. Enterprise Information; 9. Historical and Cultural Information. In the selection of materials, the book strives to highlight relevance, practicality, accuracy, and authority, while also emphasizing local characteristics. We believe the publication of this book will further promote the implementation of the western development strategy, making its due contribution to the economic development of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the realization of the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. China Western Development Information Encyclopedia is published in 17 volumes, organized by comprehensive, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Enshi Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei, Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan, and Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin. Except for the comprehensive volume, each volume is divided into nine parts: 1. Comprehensive Information; 2. Resource Information; 3. Industry and Product Development Information; 4. Regional Development Information; 5. Development Plan Information; 6. Investment and Financing Information; 7. Policy and Regulation Information; 8. Enterprise Information; 9. Historical and Cultural Information. The content is presented in an entry format, categorized into three to four levels. The first level is represented by Roman numerals (I-IX); the second level by Arabic numerals; the third level by bracketed Chinese numerals; and the fourth level is the entry, marked with a fish-tailed number. For entries with more extensive content, Arabic numerals are used to denote sub-entries (without fish-tailed numbers) for clarity. To facilitate reading, necessary charts are included in some entries. All figures are concentrated at the beginning of the text, numbered (e.g., Fig. 1, Fig. 2), while tables are listed below the relevant entries. If there is only one table, it is not numbered but titled; if there are multiple tables, they are numbered sequentially and placed before the table titles.
