Features: Chen Xinran, with a beautiful dream of being a teacher, graduated from a normal college and came to teach at a vocational high school. At school, she could still influence her students with a detached modern mindset when facing daily problems and a series of events, earning praise from them. However, in her interactions with colleagues, she constantly hit a wall. When her hard work finally bore fruit, she was stepped on by others. Then, she thought of escaping into a quiet life—pursuing a postgraduate degree. Unfortunately, the postgraduate entrance exam exposed further the ugliness within the teaching profession. When she saw a teacher lying on a deathbed, she felt as if she saw her own future. Her love life was also far from satisfactory. First, a man who loved her deeply became her husband, but because he didn’t know how to love, they grew estranged. Later, a man who truly understood love became her lover, but ultimately became a deserter of love. Thus, she could only go to a place far from the world to heal and find her dreams.
