This book is the teaching aid for the "French TEF Exam Crash Course" (Volumes 1 and 2). Volume 1 consists of 30 lessons, divided into two parts: Pronunciation and Basics. Volume 2 also contains 30 lessons. To adapt to the new trends of the TEF test, the "French TEF Exam Crash Course" was written to meet the needs of a broad student base. This course aims to help students pass the French TEF proficiency test. Based on the linguistic habits of Chinese learners and the common difficulties and challenges they may encounter while learning French, the authors have compiled this course over decades of French teaching experience, drawing on the strengths of various French textbooks from around the world.
The course is divided into two volumes, with a total of 60 lessons. Volume 1 has 30 lessons (8 lessons on Pronunciation and 22 lessons on Basics), focusing on training and mastering French pronunciation, intonation, and grammar, with an emphasis on building a solid foundation. Volume 2 has 20 lessons, covering grammar, reading, and exercises, emphasizing reading comprehension and including simulated TEF exam exercises to enrich students' language expression and improve their practical French skills, enabling them to reach the level required to pass the TEF test.
Lessons 31 to 54 in Volume 2 are the prescribed teaching part, divided into 4 units, with unit exercises and simulated tests at the end of each unit to assess learning outcomes. Lessons 55 to 60 are the selective teaching part (advanced level), and teachers can arrange them flexibly based on actual teaching needs.
