Features: This textbook primarily uses vocabulary from the HSK syllabus, Level A and Level B. Most of the vocabulary in the first volume is Level A, and considering that students with non-zero starting points might directly use the second volume, some vocabulary is repeated in both volumes. The teacher's manual provides audio recordings and correct answers for exercises. In the first volume's teacher's manual, the pronunciation exercises do not use Pinyin but are entirely written in Chinese characters to maximize convenience for teachers. Each lesson in the first volume is divided into three parts: pronunciation, listening comprehension, and text, along with two vocabulary sections. The first vocabulary list corresponds to the text section of the lesson, while the second vocabulary list, titled "Preview Next Lesson Vocabulary," contains words that appear in the "listening comprehension" section of the next lesson. This vocabulary can be explained in class or assigned for self-study, at the teacher's discretion. The passages in the text section are gradually longer based on students' learning progress, and the number of passages per lesson varies. To enrich input content, the passages in different lessons may not necessarily be related, but each lesson ensures sufficient listening comprehension passages. If not all passages can be completed in class, they can be assigned as homework. The exercise types in the first volume mainly include: listening and responding, choosing the correct question; listening to a question and choosing the correct answer; true or false judgment; choosing the correct answer; quick response; fill-in-the-blanks, etc. In the design of the exercises, we aim to avoid monotony in question types. Through practice with different question types and inquiries from various perspectives, we hope to enhance students' understanding of Chinese grammar and communicative features while also training their quick response skills. The unit exercises attached to Lessons 6, 12, 18, and 24 in the first volume are essentially full tests, serving as both a summary of the learning content for this stage and a form of assessment.
