Features: With the development of the economy and electronic technology, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) has attracted increasing attention from designers of electronic and electrical equipment. To meet compliance test requirements or ensure the stability and reliability of equipment, designers need to conduct comprehensive EMC design for the system. However, for a long time, China has lacked technical reference materials on EMC design, making it difficult for designers to find suitable resources, especially systematic ones. As professional EMC engineers, we deeply feel this, and thus feel a sense of responsibility to introduce some outstanding EMC books and materials from abroad to the numerous EMC technicians and product designers in China. This book covers the application, standards, and testing methods under the EMC Directive, discusses the structure of European legislation established around electromagnetic compatibility, as well as the testing techniques used for verification. It also explores various techniques to achieve acceptable electromagnetic compatibility performance at the lowest cost during the design phase.
