Features: The Global City Mathematics Contest is an internationally renowned mathematics competition, regarded as a warm-up event for the International Mathematical Olympiad. Hosted by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the contest is held twice a year, with hundreds of cities and hundreds of thousands of students participating in each edition. The competition is divided into two divisions: Junior High (Grade 8 and Grade 9) and High School (Grade 10 and Grade 11). Outstanding performers in the contest will receive certificates from the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Global City Mathematics Contest has a history of over 20 years since the late 1970s. The questions in this competition are lively and highly challenging, offering significant reference value for mathematics competition activities among primary and secondary school students in China. This book was compiled by nine members of the China Mathematical Olympiad Committee, who are also national coaches appointed by the China Mathematical Olympiad Committee.
