Features: Artistic gymnastics is a newly emerging sport. In the 1980s, it gained widespread popularity in sports colleges and universities due to its unique charm. With the development of society, this sport has had a significant impact domestically. In addition to being offered as a course in sports colleges, it has gradually been introduced into physical education classes for female students in some universities and secondary schools, and has been deeply loved by young women. Due to the limited theoretical research on artistic gymnastics, the arrangement of combination movements, and teaching and training materials, the author has compiled this book based on years of practical experience in teaching, training, and participating in competitions in artistic gymnastics, as well as reviewing relevant domestic and international literature. It can serve as a reference for physical education teachers in sports colleges, normal universities, and primary and secondary schools for teaching and training, and can also be used as a textbook, supplementary material, or a guide for physical fitness for students in sports colleges. This book elaborates on the development, characteristics, types, and content of artistic gymnastics from a theoretical perspective, discusses the basic movements and requirements for both unarmed and light exercises, and creates some combination exercises and routines for teachers, students, and social instructors to reference. It is hoped that this book will contribute to the development of artistic gymnastics in universities and secondary schools.
