Soul Camouflage – the confusion frequently encountered by modern people. The world is intricate, emotions are ever-changing, and human hearts are unpredictable. The classic black and white no longer apply. Behind the colorful confusion, there is often another landscape, sometimes displaying a myriad of phenomena. Four young and beautiful girls are successively murdered on a beautiful and tranquil university campus. After a tortuous and arduous investigation, the case is about to be cracked, but Detective Duan Ren discovers hidden details and undeniable loopholes. Behind what seems like a simple murder is a complex case within a case – desperation driven by desire; psychological distortion caused by obsession; the pursuit of perfection leading to a single misstep. The entanglement and conflict between past dreams and current interests trigger a series of crises and tragedies. What is both captivating and thought-provoking is that, after the dust settles, all involved parties choose to keep silent.
