Features: The internationally acclaimed retelling of Romance of the Three Kingdoms in China, Japan, and Korea. When history meets legend, history will fade into ashes, while legends endure forever! With unrestrained imagination and grand narratives, this Martial World Version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms has become a classic in its own right. Since its popularity in Japan and Korea 20 years ago, its influence has gradually spread worldwide. Chinese readers are expected to experience even greater surprises and joy from it. Compared to the imperial grandeur of the original, this book is a peasant version, a modern version, a wild and humorous version, lively, witty, and sometimes reckless, sometimes relentless. Its extraordinary moments excite readers, while its humor leaves them in stitches. It is the Martial World Version. Legends indeed require the best reading material. This book tells the story of the Yellow Turban Rebellion, the Three Oaths of the Peach Garden, and the Chaos in the Capital caused by Dong Zhuo in three parts. The author starts his Three Kingdoms saga with the meeting of Zhang Fei and Guan Yu and Zhang Fei's troublemaking in the city. Zhang Fei chasing a pig encounters Guan Er, and Guan Yu saves Zhang San Ye, who is causing chaos in the city. This segment is masterfully crafted, not only allowing us to truly feel Zhang Fei's unique personality but also freeing us from the tedious opening of traditional chapter novels. The Three Oaths of the Peach Garden features some particularly brilliant moments, such as Guan Yu wearing armor, riding a horse, and carrying a sword to join the oath in the peach garden. This showcases the author's exceptional talent. The Chaos in the Capital caused by Dong Zhuo introduces a series of characters: loyal ones like Ding Yuan's fierceness, treacherous ones like Cao Cao's cunning, unrighteous ones like Lü Bu, and cruel ones like Dong Zhuo, all perfectly fitting their roles.
