Famous works of Xiao Hong's novels

Author: Xiao Hong
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-01-01
Features: Xiao Hong's works are realistic, which is unanimously agreed upon by domestic and foreign critics and scholars. However, when researching the themes and creative tendencies of her works, a paradox arises—one that seems self-consistent yet full of loopholes, leaving people confused. The writer Bai Hua once remarked, "Xiao Hong never wrote her thoughts using abstract concepts; this is truly remarkable. Take the currently popular Czech writer Milan Kundera, for example. His philosophical reflections are expressed in the language of concepts, but Xiao Hong completely used a sentimental, feminine, and delicate perspective, filled with emotion, to convey her profound ideas."
