Features: The process of writing the script was very long, and great effort was spent on dealing with traditional Chinese culture and human nature. Using an original novel as a blueprint, the addition of the wonderful actor Tony Leung Fai brought many literary scenes into the story. Beyond the tragic love between the Dragon and the Tiger, it added the restrained and profound emotional flow between Li Mubai and Yu Xiulian, making the film more intense and moving. This intensifies the psychological tragedy of human nature and belief explored in the story. Luo Xiaohu, a tiger living in the desert with no father or mother, was born with the instincts of an animal, learning how animals live, and the desert is his domain. His almost primal, animalistic nature is direct and impulsive. He unexpectedly meets the delicate and refined Dragon—Wang Jiaolong, whose upbringing, background, and habits are vastly different from the tiger. During a robbery by Luo Xiaohu, he is subdued by the other party. Luo Xiaohu leaves the desert, passes the official exams, and does so to welcome the furious Jade Dragon—Jiaolong. Jiaolong is also willing to wait for him.
