Features: A charming first-time lover, a graceful beautiful police officer, and a passionate courtesan. Three different women fall in love with the masculine detective captain. Love is innocent, but what is guilty is the ugly heart. When a self-proclaimed "giant pest" who feels the end of the world takes advantage of the detective captain's "weakness" in emotions to create a shocking conspiracy, an intricate battle becomes inevitably unavoidable.
The Xicheng City police unexpectedly discover new clues to an eight-year-old cold case in an excavated ancient tomb. Detective Captain Jiang Tao investigates and finds that the major suspect, Lu Sanyang, has returned to Xicheng City. Determined to reopen the case against Lu Sanyang, he initiates a fresh investigation. Meanwhile, the plastic-surgery-enhanced Lu Sanyang, with the consent of unseen forces behind the scenes, meticulously crafts a horrifying conspiracy to evade judicial punishment.
Just as the police begin investigating Lu Sanyang, Jiang Tao unexpectedly "dies" from an illness. After thorough analysis, the special task force concludes that Jiang Tao's death was orchestrated by Lu Sanyang. As the case unfolds, the newly appointed deputy captain Fang Ziliang, facing a crisis, painfully discovers that there is a mole within the ranks. The mounting evidence forces him to suspect the mayor, Han Guang, while his girlfriend, Dong Cuiling, is also entangled in this series of cases. When the truth finally comes to light, Fang Ziliang realizes that Lu Sanyang is actually his close friend.
