Features: This book is one of the "21st Century Higher Education Logistics Professional Quality Series Textbooks" and primarily elaborates on the logistics systems required for modern logistics, especially the relevant knowledge of logistics information systems. It covers the management and operation of logistics star system construction, as well as modern logistics information technology. The book also discusses the planning, design, and construction of logistics information systems, such as inventory, transportation, customs clearance, freight transactions, customer management, electronic ordering, and enterprise resource planning. To facilitate teaching and make it easier for students to grasp the content, two chapters are included: "Modern Logistics Information System Cases" and "Teaching Simulation Experiments." This book is suitable for logistics majors, e-commerce majors, corporate training, and logistics professionals. The entire book consists of seven chapters. Chapters 1 to 3 start from the background of modern logistics demand, describe the development of logistics informatization and the emergence of logistics information systems, and systematically introduce logistics systems and logistics information systems. Chapter 4 comprehensively introduces various advanced logistics information technologies that have been gradually applied to support modern logistics, which serve as the foundation and tools for establishing modern logistics information systems. Chapter 5 focuses on the requirements of logistics information system construction, using the methods of information system engineering to detail the composition framework, construction strategies, and steps of modern logistics information systems, along with specific implementation examples, supplemented by cases of seafood logistics operations for further illustration. Chapter 6 briefly introduces some professional modern logistics information system cases based on modern information technology, which can be considered the preliminary foundation for logistics informatization. Chapter 7 particularly combines the needs of domestic universities to cultivate high-quality logistics management professionals, adhering to the principle that theoretical learning must be combined with the practice of logistics development, and proposes a set of network-based logistics information system-related teaching and experimental environments, as well as a logistics operation simulation system suitable for teaching and experiments.
