Features: What should be the biggest feature of a judicial examination preparation book? It should be concise, reduce burden, and permeate knowledge! To highlight the key points is not only a reduction in quantity but also a qualitative leap in passing the exam. This revolutionary leap, we are here with you! Since 2002, when the judicial examination was designated as a qualification exam for specific legal professions, it has become a "test" in the eyes of the Chinese people, attracting worldwide attention due to its high threshold (candidates must have a bachelor's degree or higher) and strict requirements (the pass rate was only 6.7% in 2002 and 10% in 2003). In the face of such a situation where everyone competes for a limited opportunity, choosing the right preparatory textbook for effective review becomes a critical factor in determining success. Advanced Guidance and Achievement Tests is a comprehensive preparation book for the judicial examination. The term "comprehensive" refers to its primary focus on explaining and analyzing exam-related content, supplemented by past exam questions for in-depth understanding, and high-quality practice questions for achievement tests. Through a step-by-step approach, it aims to achieve the best effect of three-dimensional review. Advanced Guidance and Achievement Tests is divided into six volumes, including Jurisprudence·Legal History·Constitutional Law·Legal Ethics, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law·Procedural Law, Commercial Law·Economic Law, and International Law. Each volume includes numerous tables for comparing and summarizing relevant content, making it clear and well-organized. Additionally, based on the different proportions of various legal departments in the judicial examination, the content is arranged with emphasis on key points and clear priorities. The structure is as follows:
For each legal department, it first outlines the key content, exam significance, and review methods. Then, it identifies the knowledge system and key point statistics for the department, highlighting recurring key points with lines to remind candidates to pay attention. Finally, achievement tests similar to the level of past exam questions are provided at the end of each department for self-assessment. For departments with more extensive content, they are divided into multiple chapters, each with several sections.
(1) [Knowledge Structure]: This section lists the content of each chapter in a structured format, clarifying the internal logical system to help candidates grasp the chapter's content holistically and build a knowledge framework.
(2) [Key Point Statistics]: Analyzing past exam questions reveals a high repetition rate of key content. Using data to identify question points helps candidates focus their review more effectively.
(3) [Key Memorization]: This is the core of the book, providing interpretations of all key points in the chapter, closely linking concepts to legal articles and integrating legal articles into detailed explanations. This helps candidates deeply understand and memorize legal articles while grasping concepts. Additionally, a "Note for Understanding" section is included, clearly pointing out easily misunderstood, overlooked, or confused content to ensure no detail is missed.
(4) [Past Exam Examples]: Past exam questions are the most classic and reliable, as well as the most guiding and valuable for reference and analysis. Therefore, we have included past exam questions from 1998 to 2003, categorized by key points, at the end of each chapter as learning benchmarks to help candidates assess their mastery.
(5) [Comprehensive Problem Solutions]: This section collects multiple-choice questions and case analysis questions involving multiple key points across chapters, helping candidates understand and master the characteristics of comprehensive question types in the judicial examination.
(6) [Achievement Tests]: Fully aligned with the question types for various legal departments in the judicial examination, it covers all key points required by the exam syllabus, arranged from easy to difficult. Studying these tests can achieve the effect of "spreading from the point to the whole" and self-assessment.
The predecessor of Advanced Guidance and Achievement Tests was an internal correspondence learning textbook, jointly compiled by professors, associate professors, and law doctors and masters from universities such as China University of Political Science and Law, Peking University, Renmin University of China, the School of International Relations, and Beijing Forestry University.
