Features: Cities are densely populated and wealthy areas, as well as regional economic and cultural centers, holding a significant strategic position in national economic and social development. In recent years, with the rapid economic growth, China's urbanization has accelerated, and cities and their surrounding areas have concentrated numerous hazardous sources. The risks of various accidents, such as fires, explosions, and toxic leaks, have been increasing. These are the core of China's emergency response system construction and emergency plan formulation, as well as the direct bearers and organizers of emergency response work for various accident disasters. To better guide the scientific and rational construction of urban emergency response systems and to formulate comprehensive and practical emergency plans, the Science and Technology Ministry established the research project "Urban Public Safety Planning, Emergency Plan Formulation, and Key Technology Research" during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, focusing on key technologies related to emergency system construction and emergency plan formulation. This book includes four chapters: Emergency System Construction for Major Accidents, Emergency Plan Formulation for Major Accidents, Emergency Drills for Major Accidents, and Emergency Information Management for Major Accidents.
