Dream's shore

Author: Zhu Sha

Publish Date: 2004-06-01
Features: The first work introduced by the "Apex Series," featuring two super-popular young female artists in the comic world today: Lin Xi and Zhu Sha. Lin Xi is from Sichuan and can be found in almost every comic magazine today. This time, she joins "Apex" with the long series "Homeland" and the short-story collection "Snow Wolf Lake." The "Apex Series" aims to create an original comic base in the domestic market and lead the comic era: its signature slogan is "From among you, to among you!" The goal is very clear, targeting the youth market in both creation and marketing. The name of the artbook is "Beyond the Dreams." Perhaps it's because this book includes many, many illustrations—all drawn by me, still dreaming big. When I drew those pictures, I never thought they would be printed, never thought I would truly take the path of comics; when I drew those pictures, I always felt like I was still that sixteen-year-old girl under the lush afternoon sun, dreaming beautiful dreams. But that time has long passed. Only the places you can reach are called the other shore. So the name of this book is "Beyond the Dreams." My past dreams. I hope that everyone who has the chance to see this book and read these words can reach their own shore, the shore of dreams.
