Features: 2004 Judicial Commercial Law and Economic Law Examination Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test. Since 2002, the Judicial Examination was designated as a qualification examination for specific legal professions. It has become a "test" in the eyes of the Chinese people and has attracted worldwide attention due to its high threshold (candidates must have a bachelor's degree or higher) and strict requirements (the pass rate was only 6.7% in 2002 and 10% in 2003). In the face of such a situation where everyone competes for a limited opportunity, choosing the right preparatory textbook for effective review becomes a key factor in determining success. Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test is a comprehensive study guide for the Judicial Examination. The term "comprehensive" refers to its focus on explaining and analyzing exam-related content, supplemented by past exam questions for reinforcement, and utilizing high-quality practice questions for achievement testing. Through a step-by-step approach, it aims to achieve the best results in three-dimensional review. Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test is divided into six volumes, including Jurisprudence·Legal History·Constitutional Law·Legal Ethics, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law·Procedural Law, Commercial Law and Economic Law, and International Law. Each volume includes numerous tables for comparing and summarizing relevant content, making it clear and well-organized. Additionally, the content is arranged with emphasis on key areas and clear priorities, reflecting the varying proportions of different legal departments in the exam. The structure is as follows:
In each legal department, the book first outlines the key content, exam significance, and review methods. It then presents the knowledge system and key point statistics for the department, highlighting recurring key points with lines to draw attention. Finally, achievement tests similar to the exam level are provided at the end of each department for self-assessment. For departments with extensive content, they are divided into chapters, each with multiple sections:
(1) [Knowledge Structure]: This section lists each chapter's content in a structured format, clarifying the internal logical system to help candidates grasp the chapter's content holistically and build a knowledge framework.
(2) [Key Point Statistics]: Analyzing past exam questions reveals a high repetition rate of key content. Statistical data on question points helps candidates focus their review more effectively.
(3) [Key Memorization]: This is the core of the book, providing interpretations of all key points in the chapter. Concepts are tied to legal articles, and articles are integrated into detailed explanations, enabling candidates to deeply understand and memorize legal provisions while grasping concepts. Additionally, a "Note for Understanding" subsection highlights easily misunderstood, overlooked, or confused aspects of the knowledge points to ensure no detail is missed.
(4) [Past Exam Examples]: Past exam questions are the most classic, reliable, and valuable resources, offering guidance and reference value. Therefore, we have included questions from 1998–2003, categorized by key points, at the end of each chapter as benchmarks to help candidates assess their mastery.
(5) [Comprehensive Problem Solutions]: This section consolidates multiple-choice questions and case analysis questions involving cross-chapter key points, helping candidates understand the characteristics of comprehensive question types in the exam.
(6) [Achievement Test]: Fully aligned with the question types of the Judicial Examination, it covers all key points required by the exam syllabus, arranged from easy to difficult. Studying this section enables candidates to achieve a comprehensive understanding, apply knowledge to different scenarios, and conduct self-assessment.
Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test was originally an internal correspondence learning textbook, jointly authored by professors, associate professors, and law doctors and masters from universities such as China University of Political Science and Law, Peking University, Renmin University of China, the School of International Studies, and Beijing Forestry University.
