Did I get chlamydia treponema? Is it positive?

Patient's question:

Pregnancy with two sexually transmitted infections detected! Ureaplasma urealyticum positive! Syphilis RPR negative, TPHA positive. If I have chlamydia and mycoplasma, is it positive? Syphilis has no symptoms and has not been treated, yet the result is like this. Mycoplasma was infected a few years ago, treated for a period, and then ignored. No gynecological problems! Currently pregnant with increased leukorrhea, no abnormalities. Baby's ultrasound development is fine. Really don't know how I got syphilis! Are these two diseases harming the baby simultaneously? Daily fetal movements are normal. How could I get such diseases?

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition: The standard procedure for checking syphilis is to first test for RPR. If it is negative, there is no need to proceed further. If it is positive, TPHA should be tested for confirmation. A negative TPHA result indicates the exclusion of syphilis, while a positive result confirms the diagnosis. Therefore, if you follow the standard procedure, you would never test positive for TPHA.
Your current situation is RPR negative and TPHA positive, which means you are not currently a syphilis patient but have previously recovered from it. Testing for mycoplasma is also meaningless. Only individuals with symptoms of mycoplasma infection require treatment. Those without symptoms are healthy carriers and do not need treatment, especially since you are pregnant and do not need any treatment.
Advice: You should not worry at all. Even if you previously had syphilis (whether you knew it or not), it has now been completely cured. Testing for mycoplasma is optional and holds no significant meaning. Do not let this cause you psychological burden, as that would only be harmful. You should simply enjoy your pregnancy, happily carrying the baby until birth, and then joyfully become a mother. There is no need to worry about any impact on the baby—none at all.
