Features: In contemporary international political life, Islam, as a religious factor, its role and influence can be easily felt. Since the publication of Contemporary Islam in 1995, some major political events have occurred in international politics. Certain major political events (such as the shocking "9·11" terrorist attack) seem to be related to Islam, yet in reality, they have little connection with it. This necessitates theoretical clarification. To this end, while reprinting Contemporary Islam, a new chapter titled The Development and Evolution of Islam in Contemporary Society has been added. Additionally, the content of the "Bahá?í Faith" section, which was originally omitted for some reason in Chapter 9 Emerging Islamic Groups, has been restored. In the reprint, apart from minor corrections in certain parts, the structure and content of the book have been preserved in their original form.
