What should be done about erosive gastritis?

Patient's question:

When hungry, there is often a sense of pain

Doctor's answer:

Disease Analysis: It is now believed that stomach disease is transmitted through the digestive tract by Helicobacter pylori.
Treatment Suggestions: It is recommended to adopt the four-drug therapy for gastritis under the guidance of a local doctor. The most commonly used four-drug therapy is as follows:
Drug combination, dosage, and usage:
(1) Potassium bismuth citrate + Amoxicillin + Metronidazole + Omeprazole
(2) Potassium bismuth citrate + Erythromycin + Metronidazole + Omeprazole
(3) Potassium bismuth citrate + Tetracycline + Metronidazole + Omeprazole
Choose any one of the above drug combinations to take, with a course of 7–14 days. Use it under the guidance of a local doctor for targeted treatment. After completing one course, continue taking potassium bismuth citrate alone for 6 weeks. Note: Amoxicillin requires a skin test.
This regimen can eliminate Helicobacter pylori and protect the gastric mucosa. Persist in taking it to prevent recurrence. Strictly avoid smoking, alcohol, coffee, tea, and spicy foods. Eat less starchy foods such as potatoes, taro, vermicelli, glass noodles, sweet potatoes, and cold tofu. Avoid soda biscuits and similar foods. Eat small, frequent meals at regular times, and avoid overly hard or indigestible foods.
If pain occurs, add 654-2. If the condition does not improve after prolonged treatment, the recurrence is often due to Helicobacter pylori not being eliminated or dietary precautions not being followed. This is why multiple family members may be affected simultaneously.
If you cannot tolerate Metronidazole or Tinidazole, you can omit it.
