Features: This collection of appreciating ancient Chinese ci poems, "One Rod of Rainy Mist," is a fine anthology of the best ci poems from ancient times. It selects renowned works from the Tang Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty. Since there is a dedicated collection for Song ci, only a few representative pieces are included here. The ocean of ancient ci poems is vast, and the selection in this book is but a tiny spoonful, far from being exhaustive. The appreciation of ci poems lies in diligently uncovering the profound and rich connotations of these masterpieces, analyzing their brilliant and outstanding artistic expressions, so as to share the enduring charm of these works with the readers.
