Part IV: Industrial Organization, including six chapters on industrial organization theory and trends, industrial concentration and concentration levels, specialization and collaboration, enterprise scale and scale structure, economic alliances and corporate groups, and enterprise internationalization and multinational corporations. Part V: Mechanism Conditions, including two chapters on market mechanisms and macro control, and enterprise transformation and institutionalization. This manuscript is a culmination of the 47 years of teaching and research achievements in industrial economics by the chief editor, reflecting the contributions of the co-authors from their years of teaching and research. It also draws on and incorporates the cutting-edge research findings published by domestic and international scholars in the field. The second edition was authored by eleven economics Ph.D.s, including nine professors and two corporate CEOs, with three of them being doctoral supervisors.
