Features: The "Three Epochs" series is a masterpiece of panoramic portrayal of contemporary Chinese life written by young author Liu Jianwei, meticulously crafted over a span of thirteen years. It includes "Northern City Wall," "Breaking Through the Encirclement," and "Era of Heroes." Each of the three works depicts different facets of contemporary China: political life, military life, and economic life, akin to a "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," offering an in-depth portrayal of the vast social life from the capital to the rural areas. The works feature a grand structure, intricate plots, and a host of highly typical characters, imbued with a strong sense of realism and concern for societal well-being, forming a somber and profound artistic style.
