Features: April 1st is April Fool's Day, and the "Sina Absurd Humor Series," authorized by Sina News Net and published by China Friendship Publishing House, quietly hit the shelves on this day. Like the mysterious origin of April Fool's Day, absurd humor is something that makes people laugh at the mention of it and has an unclear background. This series consists of four volumes: "Fake Jin Yong," "New Sayings of the World," "Fun World," and "Abnormal Men and Women." All the articles come from the pioneering top-performing website—Sina News Net. The Jin Yong Inn on Sina Forum collected a large number of excellent absurd humor articles for the publication of this series. At first glance, absurd humor seems nonsensical and disjointed, but in reality, it is full of life's reflections and wisdom, at least adding a touch of brilliance to humorless language. The internet is the dance floor of absurd humor, and absurd humor is the charm index of the internet. People pay attention to online slang and creative trends, but with the increasing amount of information to browse online, some stubborn book readers would rather see the brilliant online articles in books. At the same time, recording and organizing these outstanding online works was also one of the original intentions of publishing this series. The absurd humor works from Sina News Net's Jin Yong Inn are a symbol of online absurd humor creation, so this "Sina Absurd Humor Series" was born. The widespread popularity of absurd humor online fully demonstrates that absurd humor is a trend, a fashion, and a modern art. Audiences are not unfamiliar with absurd humor in movies. Stephen Chow is the leader of Hong Kong-style absurd humor, Feng Xiaogang represents Beijing-style absurd humor, and "Mr. Bean" and Jim Carrey are pioneers of global absurd humor. This collection of absurd humor in a book is the first of its kind. The focus of "New Sayings of the World" lies in the word "new." Whether it's the Twelve Beauties of Jinling or characters like Wu Song and Guan Yu, they can now speak freely. They can be free-spirited, irrelevant, nonsensical, contradictory, insincere, vague, or illogical. This is the expression of the popularity of absurd humor—turning decay into magic. The reason absurd humor has become the In language of the moment is simply because it has nothing to do with literature, politics, history, or space exploration. It only concerns you, me, and our friends. It is an attitude. At least, it allows us to hear another voice and see another expression in the chaotic internet. It is the courage to self-mock; not a winking smile, but a persistent stance; not random teasing, but true authenticity. Reading these articles feels light, humorous, and unexpected. It possesses an incredible power—to make you laugh until tears stream down your face and to make you laugh at the world when you're exhausted. "In this modern world of increasing pressure and accelerating pace, happiness is not an easy thing to achieve, and making others happy is even harder. Fortunately, we see the unrestrained words in this 'Absurd Humor Series' and have the opportunity to organize and publish them. For me, those articles labeled as 'masterpieces' are refreshing and joyful." In fact, this is the true purpose of this book's publication. In the midst of busy work, taking a moment to read these and laugh out loud is a unique form of leisure. Perhaps it will become an indispensable thing in the future. The collection in this book is just a drop in the ocean, reflecting from various angles the wisdom and humor of netizens. Absurd humor is light, humorous, and unexpected. It possesses such an incredible power—to make you laugh until tears stream down your face and to make you laugh at the world when you're exhausted. The tradition of absurd humor in the inn has a long history, and the inn, as a witness to the second peak of mainland online literature, can almost see the footprints of all current renowned online writers in its historical traces. Countless works that spread across the internet were first published here. Therefore, the absurd humor of the inn can also be seen as a representative of online absurd humor creation. The publication of this book collects humorous works from various periods, some of which may date back even earlier than when the term 'absurd humor' became popular online. So, while the name "absurd humor" may not fully represent it, it indeed demonstrates the playful and lighthearted side of the inn's original creations—a demonstration, but also a nostalgia. A year in the world may have passed, but in the internet, it has already seen several generations. Many authors may have left the inn or faded from the internet. Looking back at what they wrote back then, one can't help but sigh that the mindset is no longer the same. Absurd humor seems always to belong to the young. This collection also marks many of the distant young times, including my own years of jumping around in the inn. The inn is unchanging, but the people are flowing. Some works may seem ordinary now, but don't forget the time they were created. The emergence of absurd humor often stems from a carefree mindset, free from (utilitarianism), just to make MM laugh (the inn once had a period where everyone called everyone MM). So, when readers look at the book, they can temporarily forget the hustle and bustle and experience the carefree realm of the internet within its pages—this is indeed a gain.
