Features: This book was written based on the writing and usage experience of the "Jurisprudence Tutorial" published by China Renmin University Press in 1994. The writing of this edition strives to be guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and the Theory of Deng Xiaoping, and to implement the principle proposed by Comrade Jiang Zemin of "governing the country according to law and building a socialist rule of law state." It pays attention to summarizing new experiences in China's rule of law construction and absorbing new achievements in jurisprudence research and similar textbooks both domestically and internationally. Compared to the original textbook, this book combines some chapters, adds and deletes some content, and strives to make the exposition of basic theories, basic viewpoints, and basic knowledge more concise, accurate, and appropriate, better reflecting the actual development of China's rule of law construction to meet the needs of undergraduate teaching. The book "Jurisprudence" discusses a series of fundamental issues in jurisprudence, including the general principles of law (including the nature, role, historical development of law), the basic theories of socialist law in China (including the emergence, essence of socialist law, and its relationship with socialist economy, politics, and culture, as well as socialist governance), and legal regulation (including the formulation and implementation of law). This book emphasizes the use of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and the Theory of Deng Xiaoping to research and analyze practical issues in China's rule of law construction, absorbing new experiences in jurisprudence teaching and research from abroad. This book is suitable for use by undergraduate law students.
