For the convenience of readers, we have published three main parts separately, namely the Civil and Commercial Law Volume, the Administrative Law Volume, and the Economic Law Volume. The "Comprehensive Classification Compilation of Laws, Regulations, and Interpretations of the People's Republic of China" collects laws promulgated by the National People's Congress and its Standing Committee, administrative regulations and regulatory documents issued or approved by the State Council, departmental rules issued by various ministries and commissions of the State Council, as well as judicial interpretations and explanations of provisions issued by the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate. It covers nearly 50 million words from the founding of the People's Republic of China to the year 2000. The entire set is divided into seven major parts: Constitution and Related Laws, Civil and Commercial Law, Administrative Law, Economic Law, Social Law, Criminal Law, and Procedural Law. It includes effective laws, decisions on legal issues, administrative regulations, regulatory documents, departmental rules, judicial interpretations, and explanations of provisions. To facilitate specialized research by research institutions, scholars, and practitioners on legal issues, selected documents that have expired but still hold important reference value from a certain period have been included in the relevant volumes to make this compilation more practical. The compilation was edited and reviewed by the Research Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. This book is a commonly used large-scale legal reference tool for judicial departments, party and government agencies, enterprises, institutions, social organizations, legal professionals, legal research personnel, and libraries.
