Features: This small collection of success gems aims to guide you in establishing a brand-new concept of success—learning to "be square in character and round in actions, and combine both to achieve success with agility and wisdom." "Outer roundness and inner squareness" is a traditional Chinese philosophy of conduct and management, teaching people to "be square in character and round in actions." "Square" refers to the principles and integrity of being a person, representing noble qualities of uprightness, discernment between right and wrong, and good virtues. "Round" refers to the methods and means of handling affairs, embodying cleverness, flexibility, and skillful techniques. It may seem simple and plain, yet it has profoundly transcended the millennia of time, still shining with increasingly brilliant dialectical light today. This is because more and more modern people, constantly exhausted from their daily struggles, suddenly realize in unison that neither the "honest and straightforward" nor the "clever and cunning" have a place in the market anymore. They are too rigid and too un"modern"; the truly successful people are often those who uphold principles while being adept at adaptation, think quickly while learning diligently. Similarly, the truly happy people are precisely those who always have strategies and optimism in mind.
Regardless, this is a book intended to show those who long for success but are lost how to renew their mindset and values. If you, the fortunate readers, read it with genuine seriousness, you may discover that every twist of thought, every moment of enlightenment, every piece of wise advice, and every positive attitude you gain could become turning points in your life, helping you quickly experience the feeling of success through reflection and understanding. In the realm of squareness and roundness in life, success and failure lie within the heart. May our life journeys be wide and open, with both advancement and retreat in our grasp!
