Is children's nephritis serious? What factors or causes lead to it?

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

If it is found to be a kidney disease, we will need to conduct further specific tests based on the substances present in the routine urine test to determine whether it is glomerulonephritis or nephropathy, acute or chronic, etc.
Do not jump to conclusions. Please take your child for a routine urine test as soon as possible. It is important to note that the night before the test, you should clean your child’s urethral area with warm water (to avoid interfering with the accuracy of the results). Additionally, you should collect the midstream urine from the first morning urination (the "midstream" refers to the part where the child just urinates and you just collect, without stopping, taking the middle portion—the beginning and end of the stream should be discarded—and it must be a full bladder urine). The sample should be delivered to the laboratory within one hour.
