Features: Ophthalmic surgery is one of the important means for treating ophthalmic diseases. With the benign interaction of high-tech applications and theoretical updates, there have been significant changes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of ophthalmic diseases. The indications for surgical treatment of ophthalmic diseases have been continuously expanded, and surgical techniques have been greatly improved. Many traditional surgical methods have been refined to become more rational, while new surgical methods have also been innovated. The same ophthalmic disease can be treated with different surgical methods, and the same surgical method can be performed using different anesthesia techniques, making ophthalmic surgical treatment undergo constant changes. All of these require ophthalmic professionals not only to master traditional surgical methods but also to quickly learn new surgical techniques. Ophthalmic colleagues in China have long been working on the clinical front, accumulating rich experience and data while treating a large number of patients. Many of them have also undertaken outstanding clinical research without hesitation and achieved valuable results, contributing to the improvement of ophthalmic surgical treatment in China. To summarize the experience of this period and contribute to the development of ophthalmic surgery, we invited some colleagues to summarize their years of clinical experience and research achievements, while extensively referring to relevant domestic and international literature. Without hesitation, we compiled this book, hoping it may serve as a summary, report, and benefit readers to some extent. The contributors are all experts, professors with years of clinical experience, as well as scholars who have engaged in clinical research in ophthalmology, with doctoral and master's degrees. This book is a color atlas, making it closer to clinical practice and more organized. It is divided into 12 chapters, covering over 150 surgical procedures with more than 1,000 color illustrations. The content includes surgical indications, preoperative preparation, anesthesia and positioning, surgical steps, and postoperative management. Some chapters also include necessary surgical anatomy knowledge or theoretical overviews to help readers gain a deeper understanding. Keywords and each surgical procedure in the book are annotated in English for easy reference. The main target audience of this book is clinical physicians and graduate students engaged in ophthalmology.
