Features: Kang Yong, male, a renowned contemporary calligrapher. Born in 1931 in Yixian, Liaoxi, Hebei. He initially studied painting and switched to calligraphy in his fifties. He began by learning the works of Chu Henan and also practiced the Slim Gold Script. Later, he abandoned the Slim Gold Script and focused on Han Dynasty clerical script and Tang Dynasty regular script, studying works by Zhang Qian, Mount Hua, Shimen, the Ji Cheng Gong, and the Great Yu Gong, among others. He particularly mastered the essence of Cao Quan, achieving a pure, lush, and elegant style. This book primarily introduces the Peach Blossom Spring written in Wei regular script by Kang Yong.
